Love the Movie Tavern. It's a great place. You can watch a movie, get a meal, a drink and put your feet up and relax. I enjoy going here as o much. The prices are pretty good and the food is OK.
By far, best movie cinema in Chester County and the surrounding area. Moved to Lancaster, still come back home to watch ANY movie here. Most comfortable seats... best menu (obviously...) with all of the movie classics AND real dinner menu, with excellent, high weaponry food. And last... but definetly not least... the ability to have a cocktail! Whether you're out with friends, or stuck taking your kids to a movie your not interested in.
I am hearing impaired and their captioning devices are very good. I prefer them to the glasses they have at Regal theaters. The seats are comfortable. I think the food is overpriced then very high in calories but other than that it's a nice experience.
Although the service was good, it was just too cold in the theater. We had to wear our coats during the entire movie. Certainly looks like they're trying to sell their new silly blankets for $17, so the heat is down. It's snowing tonight and we felt little difference from sitting in the theater to walking outside. Management seemed disinterested in our concern and merely said they would "check the temperature later"... Really?? Tisk, tisk. Definitely won't be back anytime soon. Regal see you next weekend.

Food is way better than you expect from a movie theater, there are plenty of theaters, and waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and they don't feel like they're interrupting the movie at all. Everything is fairly priced, drinks menu is extensive, both alcoholic and otherwise, and is just a great night out to the movies.
Plus, the staff is super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fast! Can't do enough for their customers!
To all future and current customers: make sure you tip the waiters and waitresses the same as if you went to a sit down restaurant. This is a restaurant and the owners pay the waiters just like any other restaurant (i.e. $2.83/hour).
